John Montgomery

John Montgomery has over a decade of experience in management and policy advisory roles within various government and organizational settings. Currently serving as the Manager of Business Engagement Services and Manager of Business Advisory Services at WorkSafeBC since June 2018, John previously held positions as Manager and Senior Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Labour from August 2013 to May 2018, as well as Senior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care from October 2012 to August 2013. Earlier in John’s career, a role as Policy Advisor at ICBC was undertaken from September 2006 to September 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies and History from Queen's University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria.
