Russell Warwick

Russell Warwick is an experienced Occupational Safety Officer currently employed at WorkSafeBC since October 2022. Prior to this role, Russell served as the Health Safety & Wellness Officer for School District #8 (Kootenay Lake) from May 2018 to September 2022 and worked as an HSE Coordinator at BGIS from June 2015 to May 2018. Russell gained initial experience in safety while assisting the Occupational Health & Safety Specialist at the District of North Vancouver in 2014 and contributed to research on blueberry crops as a Research Assistant at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in 2011. Russell holds a Diploma of Technology in Occupational Health and Safety from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Simon Fraser University.
