Kym Elder

Kym Elder currently serves as a Business Planning Partner in the Corporate Planning & Performance Department at WorkSafeNB/Travail sécuritaire NB since January 2023. Previously, Kym was a volunteer Advisor for IEN Recruitment & Settlement in Long-Term Care at CareBridge Canada Health Service from August 2022 to January 2023. Kym spent nearly nine years as Executive Director at The Salvation Army Lakeview Manor, a 50-bed long-term care home that emphasizes person-centered care, dementia care, and palliative services. Kym has held various roles in senior care and education, including Mentor at Self Design High and Social Work & Volunteer Program Coordinator at Mountain Lake Seniors Community. Kym's educational background includes a degree in Continuing Care Management from the Canadian Healthcare Association and multiple degrees from Queen's University, including a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education.
