Justin Krug has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing and business development space since 2017. In 2021, they are currently a Founding BDR at Workshop and a Growth Strategy, Operations & Business Development at Event Vesta. In 2020, they were a Creative Content Producer at Mug.News. In 2019, they were a Marketing Intern at Chapman and Company. In 2017, they were a Freelance Marketer at Jody's Collision Repair / Jody's Auto & Truck Sales. During their roles, they have experimented and documented new methods/tactics to create more repeatable and predictable sales processes, flexed event marketing muscles to get the Event Vesta app more downloads, curated weekly consumer-facing marketing material, authored and published 50+ startup or entrepreneurship-focused articles, independently interviewed company founders or C-Suite executives for articles, created a video interview series featured on Mug, conducted field marketing campaigns, and provided input in ongoing economic development conversations.

Justin Krug began their educational journey in 2017 at Iowa Western Community College, where they studied Business. Justin then transferred to the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - BSBA with a focus on Marketing & Business Management in 2021.
