Erik Bjorum

Erik, a Senior Project Manager in their Minneapolis office, is especially drawn to architecture as a collaboration. He finds inspiration through in-depth conversations about a building’s design and construction, the people who occupy it, and the community that surrounds and benefits from it as a whole. Over the course of nearly two decades at top firms in Minneapolis and St. Paul he has worked across a wide range of typologies and scales, from public sector and higher education projects to multi-family developments, casinos, corporate offices, healthcare facilities, high-end residences, and even a castle, each offering countless opportunities for ideation, education, and growth. Erik is committed to exceptional design and quality and relishes the opportunity to build upon an extraordinary portfolio of past work at Workshop/APD. The father of three and an accomplished amateur photographer who has been featured by National Geographic and a number of books on Minnesota photography, Erik holds a Bachelor of architecture from Iowa State University.
