Julia Turner

Julia Turner’s attention to detail is no surprise given her upbringing among the exquisite architecture of her native Russia. In her early years in the cities of Ufa and St. Petersburgh she aspired to be a fashion designer, though an issue of Vogue Living sparked an idea that she might apply her signature style and precision to the art of interiors. Julia moved to the U.S. after earning a BA in Interior Design and began working on residential and commercial spaces in Charlotte, NC. A move to New York City in 2018 offered her the opportunity to expand her expertise within healthcare and hospitality. At Workshop/APD, Julia has returned to residential work, a longtime passion, and recently worked on a yacht, which has proven to be especially inspiring. Julia enjoys thoughtfully planning and applying her vision to each space, and bringing her classic, fresh style to a wide variety of projects.
