Karen Cheung

A lifelong explorer raised between Hong Kong and Taiwan, Karen’s design work benefits from her extensive travels. She applies broad experience and a global perspective to create unique interiors across hospitality, residential development, retail and commercial projects. At Workshop/APD, she is responsible for modeling, designing, planning, rendering, and 3D visualization, collaborating with a team of architects to create holistic designs that seamlessly merge architecture and interiors. She incorporates both Eastern and Western elements in her work, also finding a balance between aesthetics and functionality by finding a shared vision with clients, taking beauty, budget, and practical use into consideration equally. A graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
