Salma Kattass

Salma Kattass grew up surrounded by diverse architecture – from pre-colonial and Islamic to art nouveau and brutalist – in her home of Casablanca, Morocco. She noticed how every neighborhood had its own distinct style, a testament to the power of design to suggest movement through space and time. Salma became mesmerized by these buildings and chose to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture from the National School of Architecture in Morocco. From there, Salma came to New York to earn a Master of Science in Architecture, focusing on computational technologies and fabrication.
