Stephan Thimme

Stephan Thimme is the Managing Director and Senior Associate at Workshop/APD, where a diverse portfolio includes over 60 successfully managed projects in residential and commercial sectors from pre-design to completion. With a strong emphasis on budget management, construction administration, and client communication, Stephan has contributed to projects with budgets ranging from $250/SF to $1,200/SF. Additionally, notable achievements include leading the completion of two LEED certified homes and participation in award-winning teams focused on Hurricane Katrina recovery design. Prior experience includes roles at Middle Church as a Deacon and Facility Liaison and at Michael Schmitt Architect, PC as a Junior Project Architect, where foundational skills in project collaboration and office protocol development were established. Stephan holds a Diplom-Ing. in Architecture from RWTH Aachen University.
