Sydney Slater

Hailing from a family of builders, Business Development Coordinator Sydney Slater grew up watching high rises being topped out and cultivating an appreciation for the architecture, design, construction and art. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Rollins College and a Master’s in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Sydney’s studies sparked a sociological interest in the ways that humans relate to spaces and environments, insight that she believes can help to bridge the worlds of art and architecture arts from the onset of the design and planning process. She has since applied her specialization in Decorative Arts & Design to roles at Carpenters Workshop Gallery in New York and Harmony Domes in Denver, Colorado, where she most recently oversaw sales, marketing, and business development. From new regions of the world, to new industries, to the metaverse, Sydney is looking forward to helping bring Workshop/APD into new and previously uncharted territory.
