Max Wang

Max Wang is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. As Co-Founder and CTO of Workstream since October 2016, Max has been instrumental in developing an AI-powered HR platform targeting companies that employ hourly workers across various industries. Prior to this, Max co-founded VC.CN, a prominent platform in China akin to AngelList and Crunchbase, where the role of Co-Founder and CTO was held from July 2011 to July 2016. Max's earlier career includes contributions as a Software Engineer at Sinovation Ventures, where web systems were built using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and MySQL, and as a Research Assistant at the National Counterfeit Engineering and Research Center, focusing on digital image processing and machine learning. Academically, Max holds two Master of Engineering degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University and Cornell Tech, as well as a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology.
