Deborah Gladney

Deborah Gladney has over a decade of work experience. Deborah began their career in 2007 as a Staff Writer, Multimedia Staff, Lead Copy Editor, and Assistant Campus Editor for the Kansas State Collegian. In 2008, they were a Broadcast Intern for KAKE-TV, where they edited b-roll using the AVID video editing system, wrote voiceovers, and performed several newsbeat calls daily. In 2009, they were a Broadcast Intern for WIBW-TV, where they wrote and edited voiceovers daily for newscasts, edited video in using iNews editing program, and assisted reporters with live shots and interviews. In 2010, they were a News Aggregator/Media Analyst for Infoition News Services. From 2011 to 2015, they were an HR Business & Communications Partner and Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Intern for Spirit AeroSystems. From 2012 to 2017, they were an Account Manager, Senior Account Executive, and Communication Fellow for Outreach Strategies, LLC. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Communications Manager and Communications Specialist for Koch Industries. In 2020, they were a Co-Founder and CEO for WorkTorch and Worship and Communications for NewSpring Church Kansas.

Deborah Gladney earned their Master of Arts in Public Communication from American University in 2013, after having completed their Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Kansas State University in 2010.
