Darragh D.

Darragh D. has worked in the tech industry since 1997. Darragh began their career at Apple as a Software QA Engineer, followed by a Junior Firmware Engineer role at Cabletron Systems. In 1998, they joined CoreHR as a Software Engineer, then moved into a Product & Engineering Manager role in 2001. In 2002, they became the Security & Software Architect at CoreHR, and in 2019 they joined Dell Technologies as a Cyber Security Senior Principal Engineer. Currently, they are the Director of Security and Software & Infrastructure Engineering (Architecture, Engineer & Security) at Workvivo. Their primary goals and objectives center around ensuring the Workvivo platform is secure, scalable and remains stable. Darragh owns and defines Security Engineering for all Workvivo Engineering, and has also acted as a part-time lecturer at Cork Institute of Technology.

Darragh D. began their educational journey in 1994, attending Munster Technological University and graduating with a B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science in 1998. Darragh then went on to pursue an M.Sc in Computer Science at University College Cork, which they completed in 2002. In 2014, Darragh D. returned to higher education, enrolling at the University of Oxford and obtaining a Master's Degree in Systems Security and Computer Science in 2019.
