John Carson

John Carson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in capital markets and securities regulation. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Compliax Consulting Inc. since June 2001, John offers advisory services focusing on capital markets development, securities exchange demutualization, and corporate governance. Additionally, John has been a Capital Markets Expert and Consultant for The World Bank since May 2001 and actively participates in the Georgian Bay Association as Chair of the Vision 2050 Project and Co-Chair of the Coastal Protection Committee. Prior to these roles, John held senior positions at the Toronto Stock Exchange from 1986 to 2001, including Senior Vice-President of Listings & Market Regulation and Director of Market Integrity. John's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto - Victoria University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and an advanced leadership program at London Business School.
