Leon Watson is the Editor-in-Chief and Head of PR at World Chess and has previously served as the Head of PR for Chess.com. With nearly 20 years of extensive experience in journalism and public relations, they have worked for renowned media organizations, including the Daily Mail and the Telegraph Media Group. Currently, Leon is also a Public Relations Consultant for the English Chess Federation and teaches chess in schools and prisons. They hold a Postgraduate Degree in Newspaper Journalism and a BScEcon in Modern History and Politics from Cardiff University.
