World Food India (WFI), organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, is a flagship international platform aimed at promoting India’s food processing sector, facilitating investments, encouraging innovation, enhancing exports, and strengthening global partnerships.

In order to further deepen regional outreach, promote sector-specific strengths, enhance MSME participation, and enable focused B2B engagement, MoFPI is organising four Regional Editions of World Food India during Financial Year 2026–27 across different regions of the country.

WFI will now be organized as a biennial event. In the intervening years, it is proposed to organize Regional WFI events across the North, South, East, and West Zones, providing an opportunity to showcase commodity-specific strengths, promote exports, and deepen engagement with stakeholders across the food value chain.
