Alpha Bah

Alpha Bah is an experienced leader in the field of information technology and emergency response, currently serving as the Representative and Country Director for the World Food Programme (WFP) since May 2000, overseeing operations across 14 Pacific Island Countries and Territories. Previously, Alpha held significant roles including Deputy Country Director in Bangladesh, Chief of the IT Emergency Preparedness & Response Branch, and Regional ICT Officer in both Nairobi and Dakar. Earlier career experiences include positions at UNDP as a LAN Manager, Managing Director at ADAtec, and a Network Engineer at SITA. Alpha holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Information Systems from The University of Manchester and a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronics.
