Leen Matouk

Leen Matouk has extensive experience in humanitarian and engineering sectors, currently serving as a Program Assistant (CFM) and Business Support Assistant BFM with the World Food Programme from August 2023 to March 2025, focusing on bridging communication between beneficiaries and program teams. Prior experience includes six years at the Norwegian Refugee Council as a Shelter Officer, where project leadership encompassed distribution, house rehabilitation, and market support initiatives benefiting over 10,000 individuals. Leen also held positions as Shelter Technical Assistant and Shelter Assistant, contributing to assessments and project design. Previous work as an Assistant Civil Engineer at the Group of Arab Consulting Engineers involved collaboration on building design and structural calculations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Translation and an Associate's degree in Engineering from Damascus University.
