Lucy Atkinson

Lucy Atkinson is a dedicated professional with experience in the humanitarian and environmental sectors. Currently a Junior Consultant in the Asset Creation, Livelihoods and Resilience Unit at the World Food Programme, Lucy has conducted extensive meta-analyses of evaluations and contributed to corporate-level advocacy efforts. In addition, Lucy serves as a Youth Panel Advisory Member for Global Action Plan, where efforts focus on raising awareness of environmental issues through social media campaigns. Previous roles include Service Desk Analyst at Fordway, Assistant Volcanologist at the Colima International Institute of Volcanology, Spanish Interpreter for LB Tours, and Ecommerce Web Content Creator at SNOW & ROCK LIMITED. Lucy holds a Master of Science in Environment and Development from the University of Leeds, a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and Spanish Studies from Lancaster University, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish language and translation from the University of Deusto.
