Rizwan Sadiq

Rizwan Sadiq is an experienced AI Technical Solution Consultant currently working with the World Food Programme, focusing on generative AI applications for Country Strategic Plans, building damage assessments, and digitalizing the Rwandan Disaster Risk Management system. Rizwan co-founded TekSoul-Q and served as an Assistant Professor at Central Asian University. Previous roles include a postdoctoral AI researcher at the Qatar Computing Research Institute, where work centered on flood mapping and vulnerability assessment using satellite imagery and social media analytics. As Lead Data Scientist at XPLAIN, Rizwan specialized in machine learning and computer vision for brand promotion. Additional experience includes positions as a postdoctoral researcher and teaching assistant at Koç University, a senior data scientist at Impressions.app, and a machine learning engineer at Survey Expert. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koç University, an MS in Electronic Engineering from the International Islamic University, and a BS in Computer Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology.
