Jan Labohý has a diverse work experience in various fields. Jan started their professional career as an Improv Actor and Coach at Bafni in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Trainer and Lecturer at Prázdninová škola Lipnice, o. s., where they shared their expertise with others.
Jan Labohý also worked as a Lecturer and Facilitator at Multivision in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they joined Outward Bound - Česká cesta, s.r.o. as a Teambuilding Trainer, Product Developer, and Marketing Specialist. In this position, they focused on improving team communication and cooperation, as well as developing new programs for teambuilding.
In 2014, Jan Labohý took on the role of an External Evaluator at Dům zahraniční spolupráce, where they evaluated external projects. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Climate Protection Coordinator at Ekologický institut Veronica, working towards climate protection and sustainability goals.
Jan Labohý co-founded World from Space in 2017, where they took on the role of CEO. World from Space specializes in creating applications based on satellite data, particularly from the Copernicus program. They analyze data in various areas such as agriculture, cities, air quality, and the environment.
In 2019, Jan Labohý co-founded ASITIS s.r.o., a company focusing on bringing climate adaptation strategies to municipalities in the Czech Republic. They use satellite data analysis and work with various experts to provide personalized strategies and measures for each municipality.
Jan Labohý also co-founded Glampuj.cz in 2017, which introduced glamping to the Czech Republic. They focused on the rental and sales of Lotus Belle tents.
Lastly, in 2019, Jan Labohý joined ALPHA Consult as a Copernicus/EO consultant, utilizing their expertise in data analysis and processing. Their work at ALPHA Consult continued until May 2022.
Jan Labohý completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Media Science at Masaryk University Brno. Jan then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Humanities at the same university from 2007 to 2011. Jan Labohý later earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Studies from Masaryk University Brno, completing their studies in 2016.

World from Space (WFS) is a company focusing on Earth Observation (EO) data processing and analysis. It has experience with multispectral and SAR data processing, analysis and visualization, machine learning and integration of the resulting products into GIS and software platforms. WFS is responsible for the data processing pipeline design withinthe European Space Agency (ESA) AMBIC satellite mission, and a part of the H2020 project e-shape (EuroGEO Showcases: Strengthening the benefits for Europe of the Global Earth Observation System of Systems). WFS has performed 5 projects within the ESA EO Clinic framework, a rapid-response mechanism for small-scale and exploratory uses of satellite EO information for development aid purposes with institutions such as UNDP, World Bank or Asian Development Bank.The main product - DynaCrop provides powerful crop monitoring for agricultural software platforms anywhere in the world. DynaCrop is a white-label ecosystem enabling companies in the food value chain to use advanced information, statistics and intelligence based on EO. It provides ready-made crop monitoring, field statistics, application maps and soil moisture assessment on a global scale. Information is delivered through value-added platform (API, white label web application, QGIS plugin) and client is receiving sales support, user-centric consulting and R&D cooperation as part of the cooperation.
