Derrick Sim

Derrick Sim is a seasoned professional in global health, with extensive experience in vaccines and bio-pharmaceuticals. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director for the World Mosquito Program, Derrick previously held key leadership roles at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where they managed the Office of the COVAX Facility and oversaw vaccine supply and demand strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Derrick's background includes a medical degree and clinical research experience in Australia, contributing to their insightful approach in both public and private health sectors. Additionally, they have held various senior positions at GSK, driving global vaccine commercialization efforts. Derrick earned an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, where they also chaired the marketing committee on the Alumni Council.
