Mick Wright

Mick Wright is a Chief of Events with extensive experience leading major international events across six continents. Currently, they are the Chief of Events at World Rugby, where they contribute to the planning and execution of future Rugby World Cups as part of a strategic ten-year development plan. They previously served as Executive Director for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and as Head of Logistics for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where they received the Special Achievement Award from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in 2012. Mick holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Portsmouth and is a Chartered Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
