Sameh Abdelazeem is a dedicated veterinarian and researcher with extensive expertise in aquatic animal health. Currently employed as a Researcher at WorldFish since February 2024, Sameh has been contributing to the Agriculture Research Center in Egypt as a Doctor since August 2012. Sameh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Zagazig University, as well as a Master's degree in the same field with excellent distinction. Additional academic credentials include two Bachelor's degrees—one in Veterinary Medicine and another in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology—from Zagazig University. Educational foundations were laid at Bubasta Primary School and El Sadat Secondary School.
