Igor Tulchinsky has a diverse and extensive work experience. Igor founded WorldQuant in 2007 and served as the Founder and CEO, as well as the Head of Research. In 2018, they founded WorldQuant Predictive and took on the role of Founder and Chairman. In 2014, they established both WorldQuant Ventures LLC and WorldQuant University, where they served as the Founder. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Igor worked at Millennium Management as a Managing Director from 1995 to 2006. Igor also held the position of Trading Strategist at Timber Hill / Interactive Brokers from 1993 to 1995. Their career began at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where they worked as a Member of Technical Staff from 1988 to 1991.
Igor Tulchinsky pursued their education in a diligent manner, as evidenced by their chronological education history. In 1988, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin where they obtained their MA-Thesis degree in Computer Science by 1989. Building upon this foundational knowledge, they focused on honing their expertise in Finance & Entrepreneurship at The Wharton School from 1991 to 1993, where they successfully completed their MBA.
