Thiam L.

Thiam L. has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions.

From 2018 to the present, Thiam L. has been with WorldQuant Predictive. Starting in June 2020, Thiam L. serves as the Chief Data Science Officer. Prior to that, Thiam L. was the Head of Research since June 2018.

Before joining WorldQuant Predictive, Thiam L. worked at Bonobos from 2016 to 2018. During this time, Thiam L. held multiple positions including Principal Data Scientist from April 2017 to June 2018, Data Scientist from September 2016 to March 2017, and Data Engineer from March 2016 to September 2016.

From 2012 to 2015, Thiam L. worked at WorldQuant LLC as the Vice President of Portfolio Management.

Tiam L.'s work experience dates back to 2004 when they were a PhD Candidate and Graduate Student Researcher at Columbia University, a position they held until August 2011.

Thiam L. obtained a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley from 2001 to 2004. Following that, Thiam L. pursued a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University from 2004 to 2012.
