Abelard

Abelard Ma is a seasoned quantitative finance professional with extensive experience in alpha research and financial analysis. Currently serving as a Quantitative Alpha Researcher at WorldQuant since September 2018, Abelard has previously held significant roles at Fubon Financial Holding Co., Ltd. as Deputy Manager for both Managed Futures and Proprietary Trading. Earlier career experiences include positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Associate in Quantitative Finance Analysis and a brief internship in the same field at Bank of America. Additionally, Abelard worked as a Financial Consultant in the Office of the President at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Abelard holds a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and has completed a Private Equity Programme at the University of Oxford.
