Diego Z. has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Diego started their career in 2012 as an Applied Research & Development placement at the Argentine Navy, where they worked on calculating radar cross sections with numerical analysis. Diego then became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Universidad de San Andrés, teaching mathematics courses. Diego also worked as a Graduate and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Buenos Aires, teaching various mathematical subjects. Diego later joined The London School of Economics and Political Science as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching statistics, mathematics, and economics. In 2019, Diego joined BNP Paribas as an eFX Algorithmic Trading Quant Researcher, focusing on developing data-driven strategies and utilizing machine learning techniques. Currently, they are working at WorldQuant as the Vice President of Quant Research and Trading in the field of Equity. Diego has expertise in programming languages and software tools such as Python, R, C#, SQL, Jupyter, and LaTex.

Diego Z. completed their education at various institutions over the years. Starting in 2009, they attended the University of Buenos Aires, where they pursued a Licentiate in Mathematics. This program, considered equivalent to a Bachelor's and Master's degree, provided him with a solid foundation in mathematics. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, they enrolled at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and obtained a Master's Degree in Finance, with a focus on the quantitative track. Lastly, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from 2015 to 2019 at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in Statistics.
