Dongil Hwang

Dongil Hwang has extensive experience in portfolio management and quantitative research, currently serving as Managing Director in the CIO Office at WorldQuant since January 2016. Previously held positions include Director and Vice President of Portfolio Management at WorldQuant and Millennium, and Quantitative Researcher at WorldQuant. Dongil also has a strong academic background, having worked as a Senior Researcher at the Research Institute for Basic Science and the Center for Quantum Spacetime, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KAIST. Education includes an integrated M.S. and Ph.D. program in Physics and a B.S. in Physics with a minor in Computer Science, both from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
