Georgios C. is a Vice President of Portfolio Management at WorldQuant since March 2023, previously serving as a Quantitative Strategist at an undisclosed quantitative hedge fund from January 2018 to December 2022 and at Tradeworx from June 2012 to December 2017. Georgios C. began an academic career as a Postdoctoral Fellow Researcher at the University of Chicago from August 2008 to June 2012, focusing on the CERN ATLAS experiment. Georgios C. earned a Ph.D. in Particle Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where a global search for new physics was conducted in the CDF experiment and involved computer cluster installation for data acquisition.
