Jhen-Si Chen is currently the Regional Research Director at WorldQuant, a position held since 2022. After obtaining a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and completing a post-doctoral role focused on holographic displays, Jhen-Si transitioned to the quantitative hedge fund industry in 2017. Jhen-Si's research interests include alpha research, data analysis, portfolio management, and quantitative trading techniques. Previously, Jhen-Si served as a Senior Quantitative Researcher at WorldQuant and completed mandatory military service as a second lieutenant with the Ministry of National Defense Taiwan R.O.C. Jhen-Si holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from National Taiwan University.
