Karan Gupta is an experienced researcher and intern with a strong background in computer science and mathematics. Currently serving as a Research Intern at HiPeC Lab since January 2025, Karan is focused on developing a runtime profiler to analyze program execution. Concurrently, involvement as an Undergraduate Researcher at FLaMe Research Lab under Dr. Md showcases Karan's commitment to advanced research. Previous roles include a Worldquant Brain Research Consultant since July 2023 and a member of The 65th Square since January 2023. Earlier experience includes a Research Internship at the Artificial Intelligence Institute of South Carolina, where Karan developed a novel decoding strategy for language models, and an SDE Internship at BNY Mellon, contributing to AI solutions and enhancing question-answering systems. Karan began research experience as an Undergraduate Summer Research Intern at HiPeC-Lab@IIITD, focusing on improving Linux’s page migration between NUMA nodes. Karan is pursuing a BTech in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, expected to graduate in April 2025.
