Máté Pónya

Máté Pónya is a Forecast Technology Engineer at WorldQuant since September 2022, specializing in supporting portfolio management and quantitative research through model development and execution of trading strategies. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at aiMotive, where Máté contributed to enhancing object detection algorithms for autonomous vehicles, and internships at Dermus, British Antarctic Survey, and MTA SZTAKI, focusing on software development, data analysis, and robotics. Máté holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2021 and 2020, respectively.
