Phil Roussel

Phil Roussel currently serves as the AVP of Data Strategy at WorldQuant since November 2024. Prior to this role, Phil was the Financial Partnerships Lead at Gener8, where efforts focused on empowering users to share data for rewards, leading to a robust dataset. Phil gained valuable experience at ICE as a Senior Solutions Specialist in Sustainable Finance, and at Urgentem as the Business Development Lead, both positions emphasizing strategic leadership and corporate sustainability. Earlier in the career, Phil worked at Morningstar as a Sales Manager and held roles as an Account Relationship Manager and Sales Associate, emphasizing strategic account management and new business sales. Phil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing/Marketing Management from Newcastle University and a degree in Mathematics from Elizabeth College.
