Qi Yang is an Honors undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill, pursuing dual majors in Statistics and Operations Research and Economics, with a focus on quantitative research and risk modeling. They are currently serving as a Student Researcher at the Institute for Risk Management and Insurance Innovation and as a Quantitative Research Consultant at WorldQuant. Qi has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at DDC Academy and conducted research at Peking University, investigating the impact of emotions on risk-taking. In addition to their academic and research roles, they have experience as a Web Developer for Beijing 101 Middle/High School.
