Roopesh Ranjan

Roopesh Ranjan is an undergraduate student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, currently engaged as a Tier 2 Quantitative Research Consultant at WorldQuant, where efforts are focused on developing quantitative trading algorithms and backtesting strategies using historical market data. Roopesh has also participated in various organizations such as the National Society of Professional Engineers and the International Association of Engineers as a student member, and has completed internships in space data science with ISRO and in AI research with the Artificial Intelligence Institute of South Carolina. Additional contributions have been made to open-source projects including Timechain Labs and GirlScript Summer of Code. Roopesh is pursuing multiple degrees, including a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science and Data Analysis at IIT Patna and a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Senapati.
