Rupak Banerjee is currently serving as Secretary of the IR&P Council at IIT Gandhinagar since April 2025 and as Secretary of the Students' Council since May 2023. Additionally, Rupak holds the role of Student Guide and has managed Mess Council operations as an Executive. As the Overall Coordinator for the Entrepreneurship Initiative IITGN since September 2023, Rupak collaborates with prestigious institutions to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. Rupak is also the Founder of "In my Diary," a Research Consultant at WorldQuant, and has previously worked as an Investment Analyst at Zetheta Algorithms Private Limited. In academic roles, Rupak is a Teaching Assistant for a communication course and a PAL Mentor, with a current enrollment in the Bachelor of Technology program at IIT Gandhinagar, anticipated to graduate in August 2026. Early education includes achieving top honors at St. Stephen's School and completing higher secondary studies at Indira Gandhi Memorial High School, along with rigorous preparation for engineering entrance exams at various institutes.
