Timothy Kim

Timothy Kim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment management and strategic consulting. As General Manager and Head of the Korea Office at WorldQuant LLC since September 2015, Timothy leads efforts in quantification and automation within trading processes. Prior to this role, Timothy served as General Manager and Team Leader at Samsung C&T, focusing on global project development opportunities in infrastructure, natural resources, and real estate. Timothy's career also includes a tenure as Vice President at AIG Investments, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing and managing private equity investments across Asia. Earlier experiences include strategic consulting for Samsung Group and developing financial models at JP Morgan. Timothy holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
