Fernando Espasiano has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Fernando started their career as a Telecommunications Intern at Caterpillar Inc. from June 2008 to May 2010.
In 2010, Fernando joined IBM and held multiple positions including SOX Test Analyst from August 2010 to January 2012, Middleware Support Analyst from January 2012 to June 2014, and Agile Test Analyst in the Sprint Project from June 2014 to August 2017. Fernando then took on the role of Configuration Management Team Leader in the Sprint Project from August 2017 to September 2018.
From 2018 to 2022, Fernando worked at Roche as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were responsible for working with Performance and Automation in Testing for a cloud-based workflow product. Fernando also served as a Test Manager for the Finance and Procurement Area, Source to Pay, working with SAP SRM and CLM Solutions and Global Solutions.
Most recently, Fernando joined Worldsensing in March 2023 as a QA Engineer Team Lead.
Fernando Espasiano has a strong education background in the field of information technology. Fernando obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Faculdade Dom Bosco Piracicaba, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Technical Course in Computer Science at Cotil - Colégio Técnico de Limeira - UNICAMP from 2004 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, Fernando has acquired various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the industry. Fernando obtained certifications such as "Get started with Kubernetes and IBM Cloud Container Service," "Docker Essentials: Extend Your Apps With Containers," and "Telecommunications Industry Foundations," all from IBM in 2018. Fernando also completed a certification in "Version Control with Git" from Coursera in the same year.
Furthermore, Fernando obtained the certification of "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM in 2018 and was recognized as an IBM Recognized Teacher/Educator in 2017. Fernando holds the certification "CTFL" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, and "ITIL V3" from EXIN, both obtained in 2014. Other certifications include "SOA" from IBM in 2012 and "Rational Quality Manager v2" from IBM in 2011.
Fernando has recently obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021, further expanding their skills in cloud computing.
