Mike Watjen

Mike Watjen is the Director of LED Services at WorldStage. Mike has over 19 years of experience in the field of audio-visual equipment sales and support.

Mike started their career at Barco in 2001 as a customer service engineer. In this role, they provided phone and on-site support for Barco customers. Mike quickly rose through the ranks and became a field sales engineer in 2005. In this role, they were responsible for generating sales quotations, conducting site surveys, and providing product demonstrations.

In 2013, Mike transitioned to an inside sales specialist role where they continued to provide support to Barco customers. Mike left Barco in 2017 to join WorldStage as a Sr. LED Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for phone support, trade show support, sales demos, and after-sales support for both fixed installation and events customers. Mike also developed and taught Barco LED classes.

Mike has been with WorldStage since 2019 and is currently the Director of LED Services.

Mike Watjen's educational career began with a type of training in Basic Electronics and Ground Radio School. Mike then attended the United States Marine Corps.
