WORMSLEY, located in Stokenchurch, Bucks (Jct 5, M40) is a quintessential private English Country Estate, dating back to its first mention in official records in 1106. Since 1547, the Estate has been in three families; the Scropes, the Fanes and since 1984, the Getty’s. 

The late Sir Paul & Lady Getty embarked on a significant renovation of the Estate, bringing the House & Walled Gardens back to life, creating the Lake in the Deer Park, establishing the world-renowned Cricket Ground (and the associated Sir Paul Getty XI), developing one of the most respected shoots in the UK and building the Library, which houses one of the finest private collections of books & manuscripts in the country.

Since 2011, the Estate has also been home to Garsington Opera, in the Robin Snell designed 600-seat Opera Pavilion in the Deer Park. In 2016, Robin Snell also designed the Boundary Room, overlooking the Cricket Ground, which provides hospitality & event space for up to 300 guests.

The Estate also holds Wedding licences across 4 discrete locations, where ultimate privacy & security is guaranteed for discerning private parties up to 600 guests.
