Stacey Bennett

Stacey Bennett is the General Counsel at Ohio University, a position they have held since 2020. They previously served as Associate Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel at The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2020, where they managed the Business and Transactional Group of attorneys. With experience as Chief of the Business Counsel Section in the Ohio Attorney General's Office and as an Enforcement Attorney for the Federal Election Commission, they also worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and as a Law Clerk to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Micronesia. Stacey earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Yale Law School and is pursuing a B.A. in Literature at Wheaton College.
