Debra Johns

Debra Johns has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit and education sectors. Debra began their career as a Director of Career Services at Sanford-Brown Institute in 2001 and continued in that role until 2011. In 2011, they moved to Tulsa Welding School where they served as the Director of Career Services for three years. In 2014, Debra joined the Wounded Warrior Project as a Warriors to Work Specialist, where they helped injured service members transition into the civilian workforce. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Recruiter at the same organization, where they managed a portfolio of positions and facilitated the hiring and onboarding process.

Debra Johns pursued their education at the University of North Florida from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, in February 2020, Debra obtained certification as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the institution SHRM.
