John Bartow

John Bartow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in veteran advocacy and military service. Currently serving as a National Service Officer at the Wounded Warrior Project since February 2022, John is a VA Accredited Professional Benefits Advocate and engages in collaborative stakeholder efforts in the Special Operations Forces Enterprise. Prior to this role, John worked as a Veteran Service Officer at the Veterans of Foreign Wars from June 2017 to March 2022, supporting veterans through the complexities of VA programs and benefits claims. John's military career includes over 22 years of service in the United States Air Force as a Flight Safety NCO and Aircrew Loadmaster, where experience included humanitarian and combat missions, as well as time in the US Army as an Airborne Infantryman/Communicator in special operations units.
