Warrior Support Coordinator at Wounded Warrior Project

Ryan Libby has an extensive work history, starting with their role as a Team Leader in the US Army from September 2003 to December 2008. During their time in the army, they demonstrated leadership skills and organized and led route clearance and convoy security missions during combat operations. Ryan then served as a Squad Leader in various capacities within an Airborne Distribution Company from August 2008 to February 2011, where they supervised and ensured the health, welfare, combat readiness, discipline, and safety of soldiers.

In March 2011, Ryan Libby became the Marketing Manager for The Fallen Outdoors, a role in which they aimed to establish sustained success for Team Alaska among businesses. Ryan conducted regular instructional seminars and collaborated with organization leaders to implement proper chains of command and custody. Ryan later became the Director of Marketing and Acquisitions for The Fallen Outdoors from March 2019 to September 2021. In this position, they oversaw national-level marketing efforts and motivated teams across the organization to improve the organizational image using various marketing methods.

In October 2019, Ryan Libby joined FISH EM LLC as a Fishing Guide. During their tenure, they liaised with clients through various channels to facilitate trip bookings and license purchases. Ryan also organized online equipment training for clients using popular social media platforms.

Most recently, Ryan Libby joined the Wounded Warrior Project in May 2022 as a Warrior Support Coordinator. In this role, they connect with veterans and their families through various communication channels, providing assistance with the registration process and answering eligibility questions. Ryan uses probing questions to identify specific needs and uncover new opportunities for support and engagement.

Ryan Libby began their education at Madison High School, where they obtained a Diploma in General Education from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they enrolled at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2001 and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Intermedia/Multimedia in 2002. In 2001, they also studied Computer Science at The Art Institutes, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in that field.

In 2015, Ryan pursued higher education once again at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Ryan completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 2016, they continued their academic journey at the same university, pursuing an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree. The specific field of study for this degree is unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan Libby has obtained various certifications. In January 2019, they became a Fishing Guide certified by the Department of Fish and Game State of Alaska. In April 2021, they obtained an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels certification from the U.S. Coast Guard. Most recently, in May 2021, they completed the Kenai River Guide Academy offered by the Kenai River Professional Guide Association.
