Ryan Mitchell

Ryan Mitchell has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning over several positions in various companies. Ryan started their career in 1998 as a Master Control Operator at WEHT-TV, where they were responsible for running commercials during network broadcasts and ensuring the quality of the broadcast.

In 1999, Ryan joined Lasertone Inc as a Service Technician, where they troubleshooted hardware and software issues related to printers, copy machines, and fax machines. Ryan also obtained a Canon Certification and led other team members through this certification.

Ryan then moved on to WorldCom in 1999, where they worked as a Terminal Technician in the TS1 department. Ryan'sresponsibilities included establishing voice and TDM transport services and maintaining equipment such as voice switches and digital cross connect platforms.

Ryan joined Sigecom, LLC in 2000 as a Lead Switch Engineer, where they provided technical expertise and leadership for the voice, video, and transport networks. Ryan also achieved cost savings through the implementation of an IVR/ACD solution for the call center.

In 2007, Ryan started working at WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone as a Sr. Mgr. Architecture and Planning. Ryan led a team responsible for network architecture, capacity planning, vendor management, and product development. Ryan managed multi-million dollar budgets and created relevant business cases for expenditures.

Throughout their career at WOW!, Ryan held several roles, including Sr. Technology Director, Sr. Product Engineering Director, and currently, they serve as the VP of Network Products & Services Engineering. In these roles, they provided leadership, guidance, and direction to teams responsible for network architecture, design, development, and deployment of world-class networks. Ryan also managed budgets, forged partnerships, and ensured the success of high-value initiatives.

Ryan Mitchell earned an A.A.S. degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Tech in 1998. Ryan later pursued a B.S. degree in Technical Project Management from ITT Tech, which they completed in 2004. In 2011, Ryan pursued further education and earned an MBA degree in IT Management from Capella University.
