Alex Volinsky

Alex Volinsky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida, serving in this position since 2003. In addition, Alex works in Mechanical Engineering R&D at Cubios Inc. since February 2019. Previously, Alex held the role of Senior Engineer at Motorola from November 2000 to June 2003, where principal research was conducted using advanced analytical techniques such as XRD, SEM, FIB, and FA for technology development. Alex began academic involvement as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 1996 to October 2000. Alex earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science from the University of Minnesota between 1996 and 2000.
