Ian Jones

Ian Jones is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various development roles. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at WP Engine since September 2022, Ian previously held the position of Senior Software Developer & Director at Byte Pixie Limited from July 2014 to September 2022, overseeing the full project life-cycle for web, desktop, and command line applications. Ian's technical expertise includes PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and several other programming languages and technologies. Past roles include web development at Apex Internet Ltd and software development at IMiJ Ltd, along with a background in Informix 4GL consultancy and CNC programming. Ian holds a BEng in Mechanical and Electrical Applications Engineering from the University of Lincoln.
