Rebecca O'Brien

Rebecca O'Brien is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in employee relations and international HR management. Currently serving as the Global Employee Relations Manager at WP Engine since October 2019, Rebecca has also held various leadership roles within the company, including Head of Employee Experience, International, and Regional Leader & Senior People Business Partner for Go To Market. Prior to this, Rebecca worked as an International HR Business Partner at ZAGG, Inc., and as a Global HR Business Partner at Digital River, contributing to strategies for rapid international expansion and localized employee experiences. Rebecca's early career included roles in law enforcement as a Reserve Garda and in retail management, alongside a solid academic foundation in Human Resource Management from the University of Limerick, where studies included a Bachelor's degree and various HR qualifications. Rebecca continues to enhance professional development with ongoing CIPD qualifications.
