Robert Li

Robert Li's work experience begins in 2003 with their role as a Senior Salesperson/2IC at Harvey Norman, where they assisted customers with computer purchases and provided on-site computer repair. In 2010, they became a self-employed film and television technician, working on productions for organizations such as ABC, NAB, and Mazda. From 2012 to 2014, Robert served as a Purchasing Manager for Shanghai Ying Guo International Trading Co. Ltd., overseeing procurement of products for sale in China. In 2014, they founded RET.asia, a real estate crowdfunding platform, and also joined R&J Real Estate & Consulting Services as a Partner, responsible for sales development and marketing. In 2016, Robert co-founded Belle's Face & Fashion, an online cosmetics retailer, where they managed logistics, purchasing, and marketing. In 2017, they joined WP Engine as an SDR before progressing to roles such as Market Development, ASEAN Agency Partnerships Manager & SME Solutions Consultant, Senior Solutions Engineer, and eventually Principal Solutions Engineer. In this role, Robert serves as a primary technical resource for customers and the sales organization, advises on technology trends, and promotes operational excellence.

Robert Li received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Swinburne University of Technology in 2020. Robert previously earned a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Hons) in Games and Interactivity from the same university between 2006 and 2011. Additionally, in 2010, they pursued Foundations in Film & TV Production at The Faculty of Arts at The University of Melbourne and obtained a Diploma in Makeup Artistry from the Academy of Makeup in 2009. Robert Li has also obtained various certifications, including being certified as a Headless WordPress Platform Specialist by WP Engine in 2021.
